The system’s part
Not isolated. Testaankoop judged the translations themselves and ran no comparison with and without the feature. It writes that it is not always clear how far makers use advanced AI, and it does not describe Samsung's translation software. Samsung published an interview with its researchers on 26 April 2024. Samsung Research states in it that its AI translation model for Live Translate and Interpreter is based on deep learning technology that learns from its own data. Samsung adds that it collected colloquial data for translating calls in Live Translate. Testaankoop does not give the phone, earbuds or software version that it tested.

In English, the quoted passage says that the translation is generally good, especially in administrative conversations, but that errors occur with ambiguous sentences or punctuation.
