About

I want more people to benefit from AI that has already helped someone else!

Therefore, I have undertaken to build this database so that others can judge whether a similar use of AI could help them. Each case includes sources that readers can check and makes clear whether the benefit has been reported or is still proposed.

When a source leaves a detail unstated, an editor’s note may identify a plausible answer and the evidence for it. A model’s release date matters: later documentation can suggest a candidate without proving which version was used.

  1. In 2024, AI-governance researchers Airlie Hilliard, Emre Kazim, and Stephan Ledain wrote in AI and Ethics that “there is a lack of an equivalent for positive outcomes” to the databases that document AI harms.a
  2. Following a joint workshop in 2024, Amazon Web Services and Minerva Technology Policy Advisors recommended establishing a centralized “AI Success Database” to “document and share positive case studies of AI adoption in the public sector.”b
  3. In 2026, Valerie Wirtschafter, a fellow at the Brookings Institution, called for “documenting and sharing AI success stories and lessons learned” in her assessment of federal AI adoption.c
