Two independent assessment reports support the benefit.

The system’s part
Not isolated. Euro NCAP tested the car with the system switched on, so the scores describe the system's own responses on the track. There was no run without the system for comparison. Euro NCAP mentions real time camera inputs but does not describe AI or show that the system learns from data.

Details

AI system

Workflow

The system combines map-based speed limit data with live camera input. The car checks that the driver's hands are on the wheel, and a cabin camera checks only that the driver is not incapacitated. A head-up display shows the system's status in the driver's line of sight.

Follow-up

Conditions for replication

The driver must monitor the system and stay aware of the road at all times. Poor weather, faded lane markings and construction zones can interrupt the support.
