What happened
Ofsted inspected GLP Training Ltd, an independent apprenticeship provider in Worcester, on 24 March 2026 and published its report card on 21 May 2026. At the time, 1,351 apprentices were studying with the provider at levels 2 to 5. In its evaluation of curriculum and teaching, Ofsted writes that leaders have invested in AI-powered resources for role play and scenario-based training. It finds that the resources let apprentices practice and improve oral communication skills, such as conflict management, in a safe learning environment. Ofsted states this as its own judgment and attributes it to no one else. Inspectors spoke with leaders, governors, tutors, staff, apprentices and employers. The report gives no figures on how many apprentices used the resources or on their gains. It does not name the product or its developer. Ofsted rated curriculum and teaching in the provider's apprenticeships at the expected standard.
