"account": "Spark is the AI test agent in Code Intelligence GmbH's CI Fuzz product. Its final beta test in late October 2024 ran it on wolfSSL, an open-source cryptography library for embedded and IoT devices. By the vendor's account, after one command the agent chose the target, generated and ran a fuzz test and exposed a heap use-after-free in pem_read_bio_key(). There a BIO write-back could reallocate a buffer still referenced by a pointer. The vendor reported it to wolfSSL, which merged a fix in PR 8139 on 1 November 2024. It shipped in release 5.7.6 on 31 December 2024, crediting “Peter” in the release notes. The vendor's blog post on the find is by engineer Peter Samarin.",
