"account": "Generate Biomedicines used machine-learning models and laboratory testing to optimize the antibody that became GB-0669. The original design study describes a structure-conditioned generative model followed by sequence-to-function models trained on experimental results. The subsequent phase 1 study enrolled 51 healthy adults in Orlando, with 36 receiving GB-0669 and 15 placebo across five dose groups. The authors reported no dose-limiting toxicity and no serious adverse events, although one grade 2 infusion reaction led to interruption of the infusion. Serum testing showed dose-dependent viral neutralization at 600 and 1,200 mg. This was laboratory testing of participant serum, not evidence that patients avoided infection or recovered from illness. The results appeared as an author preprint on October 8, 2025 and in the Journal of Infectious Diseases in July 2026. The trial registry was first posted after the study ended. Its structured allocation field says nonrandomized, while the manuscript describes randomization; that inconsistency remains unresolved.",

Its structured allocation field says nonrandomized, while the manuscript describes randomization; that inconsistency remains unresolved."
